On December 17, 2024, R. H. King’s Art Department hosted its annual Frozen Sounds showcase, an event displaying the Department’s talents. Families and friends showed up in large numbers to support the performers and enjoy a fun evening.
The event consisted of Ms. Shaw’s Gr.9 Band & Strings, King Music Collective, Gr. 10-12 Strings, Mr. Snyder’s Gr. 11 – 12 Guitar Class, and Ms. Hussey’s Gr. 10-12 Dance Classes, and King’s Improv Team. The crowd was engaging and riveted by the performances; the unity and synchronization of the performers were simply magical, and the song choices impressed the audience. The Improv Team, King’s Jesters, gave their audience some good laughs with their spontaneous performances and ended the evening with much fun.
Take a look at some of the photos taken during the event:
Urban Noise, similar to Frozen Sounds, will take place in Semester 2. King’s Art Department hopes to see just as large and enthusiastic a crowd as this one.
