From December 2 to 6, get a chance to have some fun and test your wits during KSTEAM’s spirit week! This week is packed with events related to science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) that are a perfect blend of fun and learning.
KSTEAM co-president Maroof Sulaiman encourages students to participate, saying, “From trivia challenges to hands-on activities and creative workshops, there’s something for everyone at our spirit week. Our members have also chosen unique prizes for the winners of each event so don’t miss out!”
Here is a rundown of some of the events students can look forward to:
Monday: Teacher vs. student jeopardy
To kick off the week, KSTEAM is hosting jeopardy in the library at lunch! Go head to head with some of your favourite teachers in a fun trivia battle – Bring your friends and test your knowledge!
Tuesday: Pi digits challenge

Friday: STEAM career gingerbread decorating
For the final event of the week, KSTEAM is bringing some festive holiday spirit with gingerbread decorating! Pick a STEAM related career and design your gingerbread according to that—or just have fun and get creative—then enjoy your tasty creation!
