Medlife @ King: how to donate earthquake efforts to Syria and Turkey

Syria and Turkey were both hit by a 7.8 earthquake on February 6, 2023. Along with other nations, Georgia, Armenia, Jordan, Lebanon, and Cyprus have all been impacted. Many people suffered from missing or broken ligaments, infected wounds, and the possibility of contracting numerous diseases as this earthquake raged. To rehabilitate and heal from this horrific occurrence, many people will require new houses, shelters, medications, food, and basic necessities.

In order to help those impacted, MEDLIFE at R.H. King Academy will conduct a donation drive. The following products and many more will be accepted: coats, jackets, raincoats, boots, shoes, socks, mittens, undergarments, thermoses, pillows, blankets, flashlights, diapers, candles, tents, and so on. By scanning the QR code, a fundraiser will be shown that enables donations to be made through a reputable and trustworthy Islamic relief initiative, whereas the donated items will go to a centre situated in Markham. All contributions will go straight to helping individuals who were impacted by the earthquake. We hope that by working together, our community can help people who are currently struggling from this disaster and are in need.
